Nutrix has made headlines with the development of cortiSense, an innovative device that allows users to measure cortisol through saliva samples. This breakthrough recently earned the CES Innovation Award for 2025 in the Digital Health category, marking a significant stride in stress management technology. A substantial portion of this capital comes from a $2.5 million seed round co-led by Simpact, a Polish impact fund, and OIST-Lifetime Ventures from Japan. Securing the Mayo Clinic’s support after an encounter at CES 2024 further illustrates the potential of Nutrix’s endeavors, particularly as they plan to establish a presence in Silicon Valley.

Historically, Nutrix has demonstrated expertise in market expansion and integration of its gSense platform with public health systems in countries like Chile. The firm has also successfully entered markets in Mexico and Peru. However, their strategy now shifts focus toward the corporate sector in the U.S. This approach may seem unusual domestically, but in various Latin American countries, employer obligations toward employee wellness initiatives include regular health screenings.

As Nutrix moves forward, Hahn recognizes the necessity of addressing privacy concerns. Given the sensitive nature of health data, she emphasizes that the company only collects aggregated information, ensuring user privacy is safeguarded.
